Bringing you the best of the original and authentic Gypsy Cobs and Drum Horses.  The GCDHA also offers an inspection program, the Gifted Gelding awards and some of the breed's best showing opportunities. Offering show opportunities for the professional, amateur and youth. Plus the North American Championships and a Merit Awards Program, the annual high point awards for points accumulated at open and breed shows.

The Gypsy Cob & Drum Horse Association was formed to:

Preserve the integrity and authenticity of the history behind the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse. 

the original and authentic breed by recording parentage, establishing a DNA database and education through inspections and opportunities to meet the founding breeders.

Promote responsible and quality breeding practices while encouraging the use of the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse as riding, driving, sport, utility and family horses.

The GCDHA is committed to the preservation, improvement and promotion of the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse.

The Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association is an umbrella organization with separate stud books for the Gypsy Cob and the Drum Horse.  In addition, each of those stud books provides a sub stud book to record part-bred offspring. The registered part-breds are also eligible for participation in awards programs and show opportunities.
