Classified Ads are a courtesy service to current members of the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association. Ads are free. There is a $5.00 fee to change/add photos and/or text. To request a classified ad, send photo and text to gypsycobs@aol.com. The GCDHA reserves the right to edit or condense all ads. The GCDHA does not guarantee or endorse any advertisement on this page and all transactions are strictly between the buyer and the seller Important Notice - Buyers should be very careful when purchasing horses from the Internet. There are many sellers describing their horses as registered, or eligible for registration, when they are not. There are also others who are advertising part-breds but the advertising fails to mention the horses are part-breds. Always ask to see a copy of the registration papers or, at the least, request the registration number and contact our office to verify the horse is actually registered.
WARNING: Unfortunately, there are many scammers out there just looking to find an unsuspecting victim. If you have a horse for sale and a prospective buyer asks to see the registration papers, be very careful. Some scammers are saying they want to buy a horse but have been burned in the past when registration papers never materialized so they want to see the papers to be sure. They then use these copies in a scam to sell horses they do not own. If someone wants to make sure a horse is actually registered, please tell them the registries are happy to verify the registration status of any horse.
If you receive a request to buy a horse but the buyer does not ask any specific questions, be very careful. These scammers often ask for you bottom price and say they will send a money order or cashier's check, which are fake. They often will have poor language skills and will not want to send you their phone number or provide any references.
If you are buying a horse, contact the registry to see if the horse is registered, what country it is in and who is the recorded owner of the horse.
*For Sale* The horses listed below are all full Gypsy Cobs and Drum Horses. If you would like to view Part-bred Gypsy Cobs or Drum Horses, please go to: www.gcdhapartbreds.com

The fabulous....HIPPEE MARE....aka Infinitys Cloud Nine!!
After serious consideration, Cloud is up for sale. This mare has a serious following and has many pluses to recommend her. She was imported to the US in 2006 by BFSGH and was foaled out in England in 1999. You may find her pictured on the cover of John Stephen Hockensmith's renowned book, Gypsy Horses and the Travelers' Way, and in a number of photographs inside the book. Shortly after import she found herself featured on the cover of Driving Digest Magazine-a true “Cover Girl”. This is a large-boned, traditional, deluxe driving waggon mare – 15 hands. She is homozygous for black and heterozygous for tobiano. To top off this incredible package...she is in foal for a 2010 summer baby to the incredible LOTTERY HORSE!!!
